On the afternoon of April 10, Yuan Jiajun, Secretary of the municipal Party committee, met with the Hangzhou delegation led by Liu Jie, deputy secretary of the Zhejiang provincial Party committee and Secretary of the Hangzhou municipal Party committee.

On behalf of the municipal party committee and municipal government, Yuan Jiajun welcomed Liu Jie and his entourage to Chongqing, and thanked Hangzhou for its long-term hard-working counterpart support. He said that Chongqing is a super-large-scale city with a solid industrial foundation, developed transportation hubs, livable and suitable for business, and has broad development space. At present, we are focusing on building three trillion-level leading industrial clusters of intelligent networked new energy vehicles, a new generation of electronic information manufacturing, and advanced materials, upgrading and building key pillar industrial clusters, innovating and creating characteristic and advantageous industrial clusters, and cultivating and strengthening "new stars" Industrial clusters, accelerate the development of new quality productivity. There is great potential for cooperation between Chongqing and Hangzhou. It is hoped that Hangzhou will give full play to its advantages in innovation and cultivation of new quality productivity, make good use of Chongqing's rich scenes of serving the country's major strategies, strengthen communication and docking, deepen practical cooperation in promoting the green development of the Yangtze River economic belt, digital economy, mega city governance and artificial intelligence industry, continue to do a good job in counterpart support, and form more landmark achievements.
Liu Jie introduced Hangzhou's economic and social development. He said: in accordance with the deployment requirements of the Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee, Hangzhou is comprehensively deepening reform, promoting system and mechanism innovation, seizing new opportunities for development, consolidating and strengthening the digital economy, speeding up the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and vigorously developing new quality productive forces. Chongqing's high-quality development has outstanding advantages and distinctive characteristics, and good ideas and practices are worth learning. It is hoped that the two places will continue to deepen exchanges and interaction and strive to promote cooperation to achieve new and greater results.
