Yang Hong, Head of the Engineering General Contracting Division at Chongqing Municipal Design Institute Co., Ltd., paid a visit.
Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Guangfu, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Yang Hong and his delegation.
Yang Hong outlined the business development of Chongqing Municipal Design Institute Co., Ltd., highlighting the company’s technological strengths and project achievements in areas such as design‑led EPC general contracting, green and intelligent design, digital full‑process engineering consulting, and the development of an AI‑powered construction platform. He expressed his hope to leverage the platform’s resource advantages to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with SCO member states in fields including the application of engineering construction technologies, industrial digitalization, and cross‑border project collaboration, jointly exploring international cooperation opportunities in emerging technology sectors and supporting the company’s global R&D and industrial deployment.
We note that, as a non‑profit international economic and trade organization, the platform brings together market entities of diverse ownership forms and establishes industry working committees to foster an international ecosystem for industrial innovation. It seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, thereby laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Attending the meeting were Daya from the Platform Project Expansion Department, Chen Jun, Director of Operations, and Zheng Xianchao, Deputy Director, of the Engineering General Contracting Division at Chongqing Municipal Design Institute Co., Ltd., as well as Project Managers Zhao Ke and Li Jiangling.
