Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Guangfu, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Ding Hua and his delegation.
Ding Hua outlined the work progress of the Chongqing Furniture Industry Association, highlighting the association’s proactive role in serving member enterprises, fostering industry exchanges, developing group standards, and promoting collaboration across the industrial chain. He expressed his hope that, by leveraging the platform’s international network and resource advantages, the association can strengthen connections with SCO member states in areas such as the furniture industry, technological exchange, design cooperation, and market expansion, thereby jointly advancing the internationalization of Chongqing’s furniture industry.
The platform points out that, as a non-profit international economic and trade organization, it integrates market entities of various ownership structures to build an international ecosystem for industrial innovation through industry working committees, striving to break down barriers to cooperation between enterprises with different forms of ownership and laying the foundation for a global realignment of productive forces.
