Deputy Secretary-General Wang Jianping, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese, and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Wang Baosheng and his delegation. Qiu Rong from the Platform’s Project Expansion Department accompanied the meeting.
Wang Baosheng provided an overview of the development of the South China Green Industry Innovation Alliance, highlighting its achievements in advancing green industrial technology R&D, facilitating industry‑resource matchmaking, and promoting regional low‑carbon transformation. He expressed his hope that, by leveraging the international industrial resources pooled on the platform, the Alliance can strengthen practical cooperation with SCO member states in the areas of green industrial technologies, standards, and projects, jointly driving international exchanges and collaborative industrial innovation in the field of green and low‑carbon development.
The platform points out that, as a non-profit international economic and trade organization, it integrates market entities under various forms of ownership to build an international ecosystem for industrial innovation through industry working committees. It strives to break down barriers to cooperation between enterprises with different ownership structures and lay the foundation for a global realignment of productive forces.
