Deng Rui, chairman of the platform education alliance, Tian Xiangping, vice chairman of the alliance and director of the basic education expert decision-making committee and president of Nankai Middle School Education Group, Li Shiyu, executive secretary general of the alliance and former director of the International Department of Chongqing Education Commission, and Wang Jianping, deputy secretary general of the platform, attended the event.

Ma Hong, member of the decision-making advisory committee of platform basic education experts and secretary of the party committee of Bashu primary school, delivered a welcome speech. She said that "SCO children holding hands" is not only an exploration tour for SCO children to study together, but also an exploration tour for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's national multi-functional economic and trade platform to promote cultural exchanges and people-to-people friendship between Chongqing and SCO countries. It is a journey of courses under different backgrounds. Paul Bezov, the Russian team leader and director of the Chinese teaching and research section of the "Lingde" Education Center in Voronezh Prefecture, and Yin Na, the Russian student representative, expressed their love for Chongqing and Bashu in fluent Chinese in their speeches. They warmly invited Bashu teachers and students to Russia to experience different cultures, hoping to have more exchanges and cooperation with Bashu in the future, so that the friendship between the two sides can be further increased in the exchange and cooperation.

On behalf of the Education work Alliance, Deng Rui welcomed the representatives of teachers, students and parents of primary and secondary schools in Voronezh Prefecture, Russia, who participated in this research activity, and expressed his gratitude to the teachers, students and parents of Chinese schools who organized this activity. He reviewed the first international research activity of "Shanghe children hand in hand, forward to the future" jointly organized by the platform, the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the education work alliance and its relevant working committees in July 2023 and the fruitful results achieved. He emphasized that it is of great and far-reaching significance to continue the second phase of activities on this basis. At the launching ceremony, the teachers, students and parents of Bashu Primary School carefully prepared wonderful programs such as face changing, martial arts and folk songs, showing the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture and art to Russian teachers and students.

In the course experience activities, Chinese and Russian teachers and students jointly experienced a variety of courses such as playing mathematics, traditional martial arts and sports games, and painting. In the interactive experience of color painting art, we draw a long scroll together, so that the peony and sunflower of the two countries can bloom on the tip of the pen and experience the different cultures of the two countries in the way of traditional calligraphy.
