Platform Mining New Energy Working Committee to Carry out Work Exchange with Myanmar Yangon Kokang National Business Association

Recently, Lei Zhenyuan, secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Economic and Trade Platform Mining New Energy Working Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform Mining Energy Committee"), and his party went to Yangon, Myanmar to carry out work exchanges.
Wang Jianlei, president of the Kokang National Industry and Commerce Association, welcomed the delegation of the Platform Mining Energy Committee. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on Myanmar's current economic environment and industrial development.
Lei Zhenyuan introduced the innovative operation mode and construction and development achievements of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's national multi-functional economic and trade platform. As a non-profit international economic and trade organization under the multilateral framework of the SCO, the platform adheres to the "Shanghai Spirit", deeply implements the resolutions of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member states, and focuses on the core task of "building a new ecology of integration between digital economy and traditional economy. As an important carrier to promote international cooperation in the field of new energy in the mining industry between China and the SCO countries and to build international collaborative innovation in the industry, the Platform Mining and Energy Commission is willing to work with the Kokang National Chamber of Commerce and overseas Chinese in Myanmar to build bridges for multilateral and bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Myanmar and more SCO countries, promote regional production capacity cooperation and achieve common economic prosperity.
At the meeting, the two sides had detailed exchanges on specific projects such as photovoltaic, mining, agriculture, trade, building materials and Yangon New Town, and discussed the working mechanism and the preparation of the Myanmar working group of the Mining and Energy Commission.
