Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Lu Lei and his delegation. Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary-General, accompanied the meeting.
Lu Lei stated that, as a provincial-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative high-tech enterprise, the company focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of industrial-grade 3D printing equipment. Its core product lines include SLA and SLM printers, and it offers integrated services encompassing 3D printing fabrication, reverse engineering scanning, and modeling inspection, serving industries such as automotive, aerospace, high-end equipment, and mold making. The company holds multiple patents and has obtained certifications under three major management systems, enabling it to provide customers with end-to-end additive manufacturing solutions—from process development to mass production. The company looks forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with the platform to help expand into the SCO member states’ markets and foster international collaboration in the additive manufacturing sector.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous summits of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial‑collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. This effort supports local governments in attracting investment, seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, and explores the establishment of “SCO standards,” laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Liu Jie chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development. He highlighted successful cases of international cooperation involving the platform’s relevant working committees, while Xie Mengkun from the Project Development Department also took part in the discussion. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual interest.
