Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the CPPCC Chongqing Municipal Committee’s Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs, welcomed Chen Juyu and his delegation. Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Guangfu accompanied the meeting.
Chen Juyu explained that Juyu Bio originated as the Shenyang Xiehe Biological Group, founded in 1988. It is a high-tech enterprise centered on superantigen immunobiotechnology, with its headquarters based in Liaoning and operational platforms and subsidiaries established across Hainan, Guangdong, Shenzhen, and other regions. The company maintains an academician workstation and a postdoctoral research station, has undertaken numerous national-level research projects, and holds proprietary patents. Its flagship product, Gaoyusheng Staphylococcus aureus Superantigen Injection, is a licensed biologic drug primarily used in clinical settings to enhance immune function as an adjunct therapy for cancer and to promote the healing of delayed‑union fractures. Currently, the company is expanding its footprint by developing integrated pharmaceutical and health‑care production facilities, as well as wellness and rehabilitation centers, and seeks to strengthen collaboration and exchanges with relevant platforms to play a constructive role in advancing regional health standards within the SCO member states.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous summits of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. It also supports local governments in attracting investment, seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, and explores the establishment of “SCO standards,” laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Zhang Guangfu chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development. He highlighted successful cases of international cooperation involving the platform’s relevant working committees, with Daya from the Platform’s Project Expansion Department also attending. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual interest.
Qin Zongbo, Chairman of the Platform Free Trade Development Working Committee, and Yang Bo, Chairman of Hainan Wenhua Investment Tourism Development Co., Ltd., attended the meeting.
