Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jie, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Wu Liangchun and his delegation.
Wu Liangchun stated that the company focuses on R&D to enhance the quality of alcoholic beverages and holds more than 40 patents. Its core technologies enable its products to meet EU standards, and it is currently advancing related projects in collaboration with the Sichuan Liquor Industry Group. The company has also partnered with Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich to plan the production of light‑aroma baijiu and mead in Germany. Additionally, it has established technical collaborations with leading liquor producers in Maotai Town, Yibin, and Chongqing. He expressed his hope to leverage these platforms to actively explore new models and pathways for international cooperation in technology, branding, and trade with SCO member states.
The platform notes that, as a non‑profit international economic and trade organization, it brings together market entities of diverse ownership forms and establishes industry working committees to build an international ecosystem for industrial innovation. It seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, thereby laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
