Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese, and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Hu Ganyong and his delegation of specially invited mediators. The meeting was attended by Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary-General.
According to Hu Ganyong, the Dianjiang County Three Gorges Financial Mediation Center, an expert mediation institution specially invited by the Shapingba District People’s Court, focuses primarily on the disposal of non‑performing personal credit assets and employs a comprehensive mediation model that integrates law, finance, and psychology. It is hoped that, by leveraging the platform’s international resource advantages, both parties will further strengthen their exchanges and cooperation, expand the scope of financial mediation partnerships, and promote the high‑quality development of cross‑border commercial and financial dispute resolution.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous summits of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Council. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial‑collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. This effort supports local governments in attracting investment, seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, and explores the establishment of “SCO standards,” laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces. He emphasized that, in recent years, the platform has innovatively established a series of public‑service platforms and mechanisms, including the Xitou Group International Industrial Incubator, the Chongqing Institute for Digital‑Intelligent Industrial Economic Development, the Liangjiang New Area SCO Price Dispute Mediation Center, and the Liangjiang New Area Enterprise Sustainable Development Promotion Association. These initiatives have enabled the platform to better assist domestic and international local governments in attracting investment, gradually building a coordinated service matrix that integrates “international economic and trade organizations, industry associations, and research think tanks.”
Liu Jie chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development, with a particular focus on sharing successful cases of international cooperation from the platform’s relevant working committees. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual concern.
Li Fengfan, Zhu Hang, Wang Peng, and Liu Jianhua, specially appointed mediators at the Dianjiang County Three Gorges Financial Mediation Center, attended the meeting.
