On April 26, the Netherlands Trade Promotion Committee, in collaboration with the SCO Aikewin International Cycling Club, hosted the “Chongqing–Netherlands: Ride Together” China–Netherlands cultural exchange cycling event. The event combined immersive cycling experiences, international cultural exhibitions, and face-to-face exchanges and dialogues, establishing a long-term platform for people-to-people friendship between China and the Netherlands, comprehensively showcasing the unique cultural charm of the Netherlands, and promoting the deep integration and development of the cultural, tourism, and sports industries.

On the morning of that day, the “Chongqing–Netherlands: Ride Together” China–Netherlands cultural exchange cycling event was held at the SCO Aikeying International Cycling Club in Chongqing’s Nan’an District. The event comprised two main components—the “Netherlands: Ride Together” sharing session and a leisure cycling ride—and drew nearly 50 participants.

Following the cycling-sharing salon, participants set off on a leisurely ride from the SCO Aikewin International Cycling Club, pausing to snap photos and check in amid the river breeze and lush greenery while engaging in informal conversations, fully savoring the relaxed, low-carbon outdoor experience.
As a key platform for advancing international sports and cultural exchanges under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform, the SCO Aikewin International Cycling Club has emerged as Chongqing’s most internationally oriented venue for sports and cultural exchange. Through its professional cycling events, the club not only hosts a wide range of international sports and cultural exchange activities but also serves as a premier venue for team-building initiatives by major domestic and international brands, as well as for the launch of trendy, cutting-edge products.
The SCO Aikewin International Cycling Club has, to date, hosted more than 30,000 cycling enthusiasts and successfully organized a number of high-profile sporting events, including the “China Cycling Tourism Conference” and the SCO Aikewin International Cycling Open.

This event marks another significant step in SCO Aikewin’s deepening engagement in international sports and cultural exchanges, further bolstering cross-border people-to-people friendship. Moving forward, the club will continue to leverage cycling as a distinctive bond, constantly exploring new avenues for international cultural cooperation, building more diverse and efficient platforms for China–foreign exchanges, and contributing to the promotion of international grassroots friendship and Chongqing’s high-level opening-up.
