Mr. Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Ms. Duan Xiaohong and her delegation. Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Guangfu accompanied the meeting.
Ms. Duan Xiaohong introduced that the China Association for Inspection and Quarantine of Entry and Exit is a non-profit national social organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, under the guidance of the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration for Market Regulation. The Association is committed to service, serving the government and member enterprises and institutions, playing a bridging role for the industry association, and continuously making positive contributions to promoting the development of China's foreign economic and trade. She expressed hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the platform, establish a cooperation mechanism, leverage the strengths of both sides, and actively promote the development of standards in the fields of entry-exit inspection and quarantine among SCO countries, as well as innovation in areas such as access qualifications, ecological origin protection, and import and export inspection and quarantine consultation.
Mr. Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform adheres to the Shanghai Spirit, deeply implements the resolutions of the successive summits of the heads of state of the SCO member countries, focuses on the core task of "building a new SCO ecosystem that deeply integrates the digital economy and the traditional economy," and uses industry working committees to integrate market entities of various ownership structures to promote the construction of an SCO national industrial collaborative innovation ecosystem led by Chinese "chain-leading" enterprises, assisting local governments in attracting investment, striving to break down cooperation barriers between enterprises of different ownership structures, exploring the establishment of "SCO standards," and laying the foundation for the global re-layout of productivity.
Mr. Zhang Guangfu presided over the symposium and introduced the platform's innovative operation model and construction and development achievements, focusing on sharing successful cases of industrial international cooperation from relevant working committees.
Ms. Qiu Rong, Head of the Platform's Project Development Department, and Mr. Liu Zhiyong, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the China Association for Inspection and Quarantine of Entry and Exit, attended the meeting.
