Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Deng Zhuoming and his party.
As a recipient of the State Council's Special Allowance for Government Experts, a Level 2 Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Chongqing Normal University, Deng Zhuoming expressed his appreciation for the platform's positive role in promoting economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and other SCO and Belt and Road countries. He expressed his hope to strengthen interaction with the platform and play a positive role in promoting scientific, educational, and cultural exchanges among SCO countries.
In view of Professor Deng Zhuoming's professional achievements in the fields of science, education, and humanities, and upon the recommendation of the Platform's Traditional Chinese Medicine, Digital Health Working Committee, the platform decided to appoint Deng Zhuoming as a senior expert consultant to the think tank of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform, and a letter of appointment ceremony was held.
Deng Zhuoming is a recipient of the State Council's Special Allowance for Government Experts, former Party Secretary of Chongqing Normal University, and a Level 2 Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Chongqing Normal University. He has presided over more than 20 national and provincial research projects, including projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Science and Education Planning Project, and major and key projects of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 20 monographs and textbooks and more than 70 papers. He has won numerous awards, including the National Teaching Achievement Award, the Excellent Achievement Award for Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, the Chongqing Municipal Government Teaching Achievement Award, and the Excellent Achievement Award for Social Sciences.
