Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jie, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Lei Ning and his delegation.
Lei Ning, also Chairman of Shaanxi Xiao Luo Tuo Overseas Warehouse Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that as an overseas Chinese-funded enterprise, the company is committed to building a platform integrating domestic and foreign high-quality products, using overseas Chinese as a bridge to connect domestic and foreign resources, and achieving win-win cooperation through strong alliances. Currently, the company uses cultural arts and international trade exchanges as its entry point, investing in and building an overseas warehouse in Belarus and developing a Silk Road International Trade City, allowing people in countries along the route to directly and conveniently experience and purchase Chinese goods. It hopes to leverage the platform to actively explore new opportunities in the fields of bulk commodity import and export trade, traditional Chinese medicine and catering exports.
The platform pointed out that, as a non-profit international economic and trade organization, the platform integrates market entities of various ownership structures to build an industrial innovation and international ecosystem through industry working committees, striving to break down cooperation barriers between enterprises of different ownership structures and lay the foundation for the global re-layout of productivity.
Qiu Rong from the platform's project development department and Kuang Lijun, director of the Chongqing office of the Philippine Overseas Chinese Business and Trade Association, attended the meeting.
