Director-General Hu Kaiqiang Meets with Zhang Junbo, Deputy District Chief and Party Member of Jianghan District People's Government of Wuhan City

Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Zhang Junbo and his party, and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jie accompanied the discussion.
Zhang Junbo introduced the economic and social development of Jianghan District. He said that Jianghan District is a famous town in China and the source of Hankou, with obvious advantages in location, industry and opening up, and a good business environment. Jianghan District has always adhered to the development of modern service industry as the main direction. At present, it has formed a "3+3" modern service industry system focusing on finance, trade circulation, communication and information, business services, cultural creativity and scientific and technological services. The added value of service industry accounts for more than 93% of GDP. It has the only 0.1 billion-level provincial financial demonstration agglomeration area in the province. It is hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the platform, take advantage of the platform bridge and channel, gather high-quality industrial element resources with the industry working committee, help Jianghan District to innovate and upgrade the investment promotion model, and promote the high-quality development of an open economy.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform insists on carrying forward the "Shanghai Spirit" and deeply implements the resolutions of the SCO Heads of State Council. Focusing on the core task of "building a new ecology of integration between digital economy and traditional economy", the platform promotes the construction of a collaborative innovation ecology of SCO national industries led by the "chain owners" of Chinese enterprises through the integration of various ownership market entities with the industry working committee, and helps local governments to attract investment, gradually break through the barriers to cooperation between enterprises of different ownerships, explore the establishment of "Shanghai Cooperation Standards", and lay the foundation for the global redistribution of productivity. Hu Kaiqiang said that at present, more than ten domestic and foreign local governments and platforms, including Samarkand in Uzbekistan, Geshm free trade zone in Iran, China Shanghai Cooperation Organization local economic and trade cooperation demonstration zone, Chongqing Education Commission, Chongqing Youth League Municipal Committee, Chongqing Ecological Environment Bureau, Wulong District and Jiulongpo District, have signed a memorandum of cooperation and set up a special working group to jointly build a platform for political and business cooperation and opening between local governments and SCO countries, it has become an innovative carrier to help local governments in Shanghai to attract investment, expand foreign exchanges and maintain the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain. We are willing to join hands with Jianghan District to explore a new model of coordinated development between international NGOs and local governments.
Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jie introduced the innovative operation mode and construction and development achievements of the platform.
