On March 15th, the first member meeting of the Urban Development and Cooperation Committee of the Chongqing Brand Building Promotion Association and the inaugural meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform Urban Development and Cooperation Working Committee was held at the Chongqing Liangjiang International Cooperation Center. Liu Weiguo made an inaugural speech. He said that today's Chinese entrepreneurs are driving Chinese-style modernization with new quality productivity to realize the organic cohesion of the ecological system of industrial chain, supply chain, science and technology chain, talent chain, financial chain, education chain, supply chain and digital chain. The Working Committee will integrate industrial elements, seize the opportunity of "going to sea", focus on the SCO and the joint construction of "the belt and road initiative" national regions and industries, take "cities and advantageous industrial regions" as the fulcrum, actively lay out areas such as happy life, financial investment, industrial chain, humanistic education and business environment, promote international coordination of industries and production capacity between cities and regions, and empower high-quality regional economic growth.

On behalf of the Sansui County Party Committee and the county government, Liu Mingbo shared Sansui County's exploration and practice in the process of promoting the innovation and development of the county economy. By leveraging the advantages of the Shanghai Cooperation Economic and Trade Platform as a bridge and channel, the Industry Working Committee gathered high-quality industrial element resources to help Sansui realize the innovation and upgrading of the investment promotion mode. The establishment of the Working Committee has become an innovative exploration and practical achievement for Sansui County to join hands with international NGO organizations to help the high-quality development of Sansui open economy. He emphasized that Sansui County will provide active policy support for the long-term development of the Urban Development and Cooperation Working Committee. It also welcomes more companies to invest in Sansui, participate in the construction of the Sansui business platform, and jointly build the headquarters economy in Sansui., The industrial economy is in the territory, and the trade economy connects the "Belt and Road" regional cooperation system in the new era.

Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform has established 21 industry working committees with more than 1000 member units, covering energy, minerals, new materials, agricultural products, education, culture, tourism, finance, intelligent manufacturing, new infrastructure, cross-border supply chain, etc. In more than ten fields, dozens of leading enterprises in the industry have been gathered, driving thousands of high-quality market entities in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain at home and abroad. In 2022-2023, the platform will promote foreign investment of nearly 30 billion billion yuan, becoming an important bridge and carrier for promoting economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and other SCO countries. He emphasized that adhering to true multilateralism, implementing global development initiatives, strengthening economic and trade cooperation, maintaining the stability of the regional industrial chain and supply chain, and promoting the coordinated development of the regional economy are important consensus of the heads of state of the SCO member states. The establishment of the Urban Development and Cooperation Working Committee will fully start a new journey to promote the development of high-quality industrial capacity cooperation among cities in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries! He encouraged the Working Committee to hold high the banner of the "Shanghai Spirit" and put the construction of an international collaborative innovation ecosystem for SCO national industries in the grand blueprint of "building a community of human destiny" to plan and promote the common prosperity of the SCO countries.
