Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the National Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chongqing CPPCC welcomed Shi Jinsong and his party.
Shi Jinsong listened carefully to the platform's innovative operation mode and construction and development achievements, and spoke highly of the important role played by the platform in promoting economic and trade cooperation and people to people exchanges among SCO countries. He focused on the situation and development results of the half-moon talks. It is stressed that the half-monthly talk is a party journal for grass-roots readers, sponsored by the propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee in accordance with the needs of strengthening grass-roots ideological and political work in the new period. Banyuetan New Media Center hopes to strengthen communication with the platform and explore a new mode and path of publicity work in the new era led by Party building.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform insists on carrying forward the "Shanghai Spirit" and deeply implements the resolutions of the SCO Heads of State Council. At present, the platform has developed and established 21 industry working committees, covering more than ten fields such as energy, minerals, education, culture, tourism, finance, intelligent manufacturing, etc. It has more than 1000 member units, forming a number of new trade or investment projects. Since 2022-2023, it has promoted foreign investment of nearly 30 billion billion yuan.
