Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the CPPCC Chongqing Municipal Committee’s Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs, welcomed Liu Lijun and her delegation. Vice-Secretary-General Wang Jianping accompanied the meeting.
Liu Lijun stated that Sichuan Xinrunlan Petroleum Co., Ltd. is one of the largest privately owned oil storage enterprises in Sichuan, serving southwestern Sichuan and southwestern Tibet. It primarily provides reliable energy supplies to gas stations, large mining companies, logistics firms, and construction projects. The company expressed its intention to strengthen communication with the platform, proactively explore new market opportunities in the petrochemical and energy sectors along the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Belt and Road Initiative, and continuously seek innovative models and pathways for achieving higher‑quality corporate development.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous summits of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Council. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial‑collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. This effort supports local governments in attracting investment and seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, while exploring the establishment of “SCO standards” to lay the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Wang Jianping chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development. He highlighted successful cases of international cooperation involving the platform’s relevant working committees, with Daya from the Platform’s Project Expansion Department also participating. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual interest.
Wang Yu, General Manager of Sichuan Xinrunlan Petroleum Co., Ltd., and Li Yafeng from the company’s office, along with Zhang Yang, Secretary-General of the International Trade System Construction Special Committee of the Chongqing Brand Building Promotion Association, attended the meeting.
