Yang Xu, Deputy Director of the Industrial Promotion Department of the Liangjiang Industrial Group and the First Secretary stationed in Shipan Village, Tiaodeng Town, Dadukou District, paid a visit to the platform.
Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jie, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Yang Xu and his delegation.
As the founder and advisor of the “Hundred Villages, Hundred Praises” initiative—a platform designed to showcase Chongqing’s distinctive approach to rural revitalization—Yang Xu outlined the basic profile of Shipan Village in Tiaodeng Town, Dadukou District, as well as the progress of its rural revitalization efforts. He highlighted how the “Hundred Villages, Hundred Praises” platform leverages three core pillars—industrial support, cultural enrichment, and talent development—to provide comprehensive empowerment for rural revitalization, while also playing a proactive role in fostering rural industrial growth, improving the rural living environment, and promoting the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism. He expressed his hope that, by building on this platform, greater exchanges and collaborations can be strengthened, jointly exploring new pathways for rural revitalization and international economic and trade cooperation, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of rural specialty industries.
The platform notes that, as a non‑profit international economic and trade organization, it brings together market entities of diverse ownership forms and establishes industry working committees to build an international ecosystem for industrial innovation. It seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, thereby laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
