Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, welcomed Liang Rixin and his delegation. Vice-Secretary-General Wang Jianping accompanied the meeting.
As a Hong Kong–based gold‑medal producer, executive producer, director, screenwriter, and filmmaker, Leung Yat‑sun shared his extensive experience in the local film and television industry, highlighting his leadership in guiding Hong Kong youth uniformed groups to mainland China for patriotic education, study tours, interest‑based training programs, Douyin‑focused entrepreneurship workshops, and various public‑service initiatives. He noted that he is currently actively engaged in international cultural exchange and cooperation, aiming to leverage platforms to promote mutual learning among civilizations and inclusive coexistence. By harnessing the celebrity‑driven economy, he seeks to advance the standardization of intangible cultural heritage industries, deepen collaborative ties between the mainland and Hong Kong’s cultural and tourism sectors, and support the inheritance and global dissemination of outstanding traditional and intangible cultural heritage—thereby contributing positively to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous meetings of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. It also supports local governments in attracting investment, seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, and explores the establishment of “SCO standards,” laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Wang Jianping chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development, with a particular focus on sharing successful cases of international cooperation from the platform’s relevant working committees. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual interest.
Yuan Jichuan, Chairman of the Platform-based Digital TCM Standardization Committee, Zheng Chan, Chairwoman of Changsha Qifen Yang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
