Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the CPPCC Chongqing Municipal Committee’s Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs, welcomed Xiang Yang and his delegation. Vice-Secretary-General Wang Jianping accompanied the meeting.
Meanwhile, as Chairman of Guangdong Yiau Digital Media Co., Ltd., Xiang Yang explained that the company is a comprehensive digital media enterprise deeply rooted in the cultural and media sector. Its business spans brand management and integrated marketing, the planning and execution of large-scale cultural events, AI‑driven application development, and the operation of cultural‑creative products, thereby establishing a diversified industrial footprint. Leveraging the Group’s more than two decades of industry expertise, Guangdong Yiau Digital Media has built a nationwide service network that covers both northern and southern China. He also outlined the Group’s strategic initiatives in offline automotive marketing, real estate, investment, and other sectors. He expressed his hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the platform, focusing on the development opportunities in science, technology, information, and digital fields across SCO member states, and to integrate more deeply into the regional industrial chain and international collaborative framework, thus playing an active role in advancing digital‑economy cooperation within the SCO region.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform remains committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and earnestly implements the resolutions adopted at previous summits of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership forms, thereby fostering an industrial collaborative innovation ecosystem in SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain‑leading” firms. It also supports local governments in attracting investment, seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, and explores the establishment of “SCO standards,” laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Wang Jianping chaired the symposium, presenting the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development. He highlighted successful cases of international cooperation involving the platform’s relevant working committees, with Daya from the Platform’s Project Expansion Department also attending. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues of mutual interest.
