Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Guangfu, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan Affairs, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Chen Anquan and his delegation.
Chen Anquan outlined the development of China Unicom’s government and enterprise business in Chongqing, with a particular focus on technological achievements and service case studies in areas such as 5G innovation applications, the industrial internet, and digital transformation. He expressed his hope that, by leveraging the platform’s resource advantages, cooperation with SCO member states could be strengthened in fields like digital infrastructure construction and industrial digital transformation, thereby jointly advancing the development of the digital economy.
The platform notes that, as a non-profit international economic and trade organization, it brings together market entities of diverse ownership structures to build an international ecosystem for industrial innovation through industry-specific working committees, with the aim of breaking down barriers to cooperation among enterprises of different ownership types and laying the foundation for a global realignment of productive forces.
