Xi welcomed new members to the BRICS family and invited many countries to become BRICS partners. Xi Jinping pointed out that the expansion is an important milestone in the history of the development of the BRICS and a landmark event in the evolution of the international pattern. The BRICS countries have come together based on common pursuit and in line with the general trend of world peace and development. At present, the world's century-old changes are evolving at an accelerated pace, with both a new multipolar situation and a "new cold war" in jeopardy. The BRICS countries should seize the historical opportunity, show historical initiative, adhere to the original mission of openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, comply with the general trend of the rise of the global South, adhere to the common ground while reserving differences, work with one heart and one mind, further consolidate the common values of the BRICS countries, safeguard the common interests of the BRICS countries, promote the unity and self-reliance of the BRICS countries, and make the BRICS the main channel to promote unity and cooperation in the global South.

Xi Jinping emphasized that the more turbulent the world is, the more we must hold high the banner of peace, development, cooperation, and win-win, refine the quality of the BRICS, and demonstrate the strength of the BRICS. It is necessary to raise the voice of peace and advocate a new type of security characterized by dialogue rather than confrontation and partnership rather than alliance. -- We should build the "BRICS of Peace" and be the defenders of common security. Only by practicing a common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security concept can we embark on a road to universal security. We must adhere to the three principles of "no spillover on the battlefield, no escalation of wars, and no fire from all parties" to promote the easing of the crisis in Ukraine as soon as possible. We will promote a ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible and make unremitting efforts for a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.

-We should build "innovative BRICS" and be the forerunner of high-quality development. We should keep up with the pace of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, and cultivate new quality productivity. China has recently established the China-BRICS Artificial Intelligence Development and Cooperation Center, and will establish the BRICS International Research Center for Deep Sea Resources, the BRICS Special Economic Zone China Cooperation Center, the BRICS Industrial Capacity China Center, and the BRICS Digital Industry Ecology. Cooperation network, all parties are welcome to actively participate.

-We should build "green gold bricks" and be practitioners of sustainable development. China's high-quality production capacity of electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products has provided an important boost to the world's green development. China is willing to expand cooperation with the BRICS countries in green industries, clean energy and green minerals, promote the "green" development of the entire industrial chain, enrich the "green content" of cooperation, and increase the "gold content" of development ".

-- We should build a "just BRICS" and be a leader in the reform of the global governance system. The international balance of power is evolving profoundly, but the reform of the global governance system has been lagging behind for a long time. We must practice true multilateralism, adhere to the global governance concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, lead global governance reforms with the concepts of fairness, justice, openness and inclusiveness, and enhance the representation and voice of countries in the global South. Promote the interconnection of financial infrastructure, maintain high-level financial security, expand and strengthen the new development bank, and promote the international financial system to better reflect changes in the world economic structure.

-- We should build "humanistic BRICS" and be advocates of civilization and harmony. We will strengthen the exchange of experience in governance and promote the inclusive coexistence of different civilizations. The BRICS digital education cooperation initiative proposed by China has been implemented. The BRICS digital education capacity-building plan will be implemented. In the next five years, 10 overseas study centers will be set up in BRICS countries to provide training opportunities for 1000 education managers, teachers and students.

Xi Jinping finally emphasized that China is willing to work with the BRICS countries to create a new situation of high-quality development of "big gold brick cooperation" and jointly promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind!

Centering on the theme of "strengthening multilateralism and promoting just global development and security", the leaders exchanged in-depth views on BRICS cooperation and major international issues of common concern.

The leaders positively evaluated the development of the BRICS mechanism and its important role in responding to global challenges. They believed that the BRICS countries have a large population, rich resources, huge development potential, increasing appeal and international influence, and have become a model of multilateralism.
