Recently, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization national multi-functional economic and trade platform to Xinhua News Agency Chongqing Branch research.
Chen Guojun, director of the Chongqing Branch of Xinhua News Agency, held a discussion with Hu Kaiqiang, director general of the national multi-functional economic and trade platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's political Consultative Conference.
Chen Guojun introduced the relevant situation of Xinhua News Agency and expressed his appreciation for the positive role played by the platform in promoting economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and SCO countries. He pointed out that the platform operation mode is novel and the open energy level is outstanding. As a national news agency and a worldwide news agency, Xinhua News Agency has established a global news information collection network and formed a multilingual, multimedia, multi-channel, multi-level and multi-functional news release system. At the same time, as the only media think tank in China's national high-end think tank phalanx, Xinhua News Agency's national high-end think tank conducts forward-looking, strategic, and reserve research on major issues at home and abroad. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen exchanges, establish a working mechanism, and set up a special cooperation working group to jointly explore international cooperation in the fields of international economy and trade, people-to-people exchanges, new media, and think tanks, so as to help Chongqing develop at a higher level and promote the common economic and cultural prosperity of SCO countries and regions.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform insists on carrying forward the "Shanghai Spirit" and deeply implements the resolutions of the SCO Heads of State Council. Focusing on the core task of "building a new ecological integration of digital economy and traditional economy", the platform promotes the construction of a national industrial collaborative innovation ecology led by "chain owners" of Chinese enterprises by integrating various ownership market entities with the industry working committee, and helps local governments to attract investment, strive to break through the barriers to cooperation between enterprises of different ownerships, explore the establishment of "Shanghai Cooperation Standards", and lay the foundation for the global redistribution of productivity. He emphasized that the platform is actively exploring the creation of an international hub industrial park, serving Chongqing and striving to build an important strategic fulcrum for the development of the western region in the new era and a comprehensive hub for inland opening. The platform is willing to strengthen exchanges and coordination with Xinhua News Agency, jointly help the international layout of related industries, promote cultural exchanges with foreign countries, tell Chinese stories well, and convey the voice of Chongqing.
The two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on jointly building the "Love Agriculture Post" project to help farmers and holding international forums, and reached a consensus on cooperation.
Wen Jixu, secretary general of the platform, Wang Jintao, vice president of Xinhua News Agency Chongqing Branch, Mao Chen, director of Xinhua News Information Center Chongqing Center, Wang Jianping, deputy secretary general of the platform, and Hu Jianping, secretary general of the platform Digital Agricultural Trade Service Working Committee, participated in the survey.
