Li Huan, CEO of the Nepal National Pavilion, paid a visit.
Deputy Secretary-General Wang Jianping, on behalf of Hu Kaiqiang, Director-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Li Huan and his delegation.
Li Huan outlined the operational progress of the Nepal National Pavilion. As the only “National Pavilion” brand officially approved by the Nepalese central government for establishment in China, the pavilion is authorized by the Embassy of Nepal in China and is dedicated to fostering exchanges and cooperation between China and Nepal across economic, trade, cultural, and tourism sectors. The pavilion has become a vital platform for showcasing Nepalese culture, tourism, and distinctive products, while providing a regularized venue for Chinese and Nepalese enterprises to expand their brands internationally, for sister-city partnerships, and for aligning international cooperation projects. He expressed his hope that, leveraging the platform’s resource advantages, bilateral exchanges and cooperation with other SCO member states could be strengthened in areas such as economic and trade investment, cultural and tourism collaboration, and the alignment of international projects, thereby jointly advancing industrial synergy and mutual learning among civilizations between China, Nepal, and other SCO countries.
We note that, as a non‑profit international economic and trade organization, the platform brings together market entities of diverse ownership forms and establishes industry working committees to foster an international ecosystem for industrial innovation. It seeks to dismantle barriers to cooperation among enterprises with different ownership structures, thereby laying the groundwork for a global realignment of productive forces.
Attending the event were Daya from the Platform Project Expansion Department, Zheng Ruijun, CEO of the Greek National Pavilion and authorized representative of the Belarusian National Pavilion, and Xiang Qian, China Regional Director of Uruguay’s Haolong Group.
