Hu Kaiqiang, Secretary-General of the Multifunctional Economic and Trade Platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States and Deputy Director of the Committee on Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan Affairs, Overseas Chinese Affairs, and Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, extended a warm welcome to Bao Lei and his delegation. The meeting was attended by Wang Jianping, Deputy Secretary-General.
According to Bao Lei, Shanxing Medical is dedicated to the R&D and commercialization of wearable medical devices, bringing together a multidisciplinary R&D team comprising international medical experts as well as specialists in science, materials science, and fashion design. To date, the company has successfully developed products such as the smart ECG garment, EEG cap, and EMG garment, while continuously driving technological innovation and accumulating more than 600 patents and other intellectual property rights. Shanxing Medical has also participated in the formulation of industry (and association) standards for products like the smart ECG garment, and its offerings have obtained numerous domestic and international certifications, including those from the NMPA, FDA, and CE. These products are now deployed across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare institutions, public transportation, elderly care and health services, sports monitoring, research and education, insurance services, and law enforcement agencies on land, sea, and air, enabling the company to provide multi-scenario system solutions for customers and partners both domestically and internationally. Shanxing Medical looks forward to strengthening exchanges and collaboration with the platform to jointly explore market expansion and industrial deployment in the SCO and Belt and Road Initiative countries, thereby making a positive contribution to delivering high-quality, healthy lifestyles to more people around the world.
Hu Kaiqiang pointed out that the platform is committed to upholding the “Shanghai Spirit” and thoroughly implementing the resolutions adopted at previous Councils of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Centered on the core mission of “building a new SCO ecosystem characterized by the deep integration of the digital and traditional economies,” the platform leverages industry-specific working committees to bring together market entities of diverse ownership structures, thereby fostering an industrial synergy and innovation ecosystem among SCO member states led by Chinese enterprises serving as “chain leaders.” This initiative aims to support local governments in attracting investment, break down barriers to cooperation among enterprises of different ownership types, explore the establishment of “SCO standards,” and lay the foundation for a global realignment of productive forces.
Wang Jianping chaired the symposium and outlined the platform’s innovative operational model and its achievements in construction and development, with a particular focus on sharing successful cases of international cooperation involving the platform’s relevant working committees. The two sides then engaged in an in-depth exchange on topics of mutual interest.
Zuo Tuqiang, Chairman of the Platform Digital Culture Industry Development Committee, along with Secretary-General Xiang Ping and Deputy Secretary-General Xiang Kaihong, as well as Li Yang, General Manager of Shenzhen Shanxing Medical Co., Ltd., and other relevant personnel, attended the meeting.
