On September 2nd, the award list for the 2025 "Data Elements ×" Chongqing Division Finals was announced. The project titled "Innovative Application Platform Demonstration Project for Intelligent Detection and Predictive Maintenance of Industrial Equipment Driven by Multidimensional Data," jointly submitted by Chongqing Digital Intelligence Industry Economic Development Research Institute, Chuangshuyun (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd., and the Space Communication Research Institute of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, stood out and won the third prize in the competition. This achievement is not only another breakthrough for Chongqing in the application of data elements but also vividly demonstrates how local innovation entities use data as an engine to drive industrial intelligent transformation.
This competition was themed "Data Empowerment, Multiplying Upwards," aiming to explore innovative application scenarios of data elements across various industries. The award-winning project focuses on pain points in industrial equipment operation and maintenance, constructing an intelligent detection and predictive maintenance system covering the entire equipment lifecycle through multidimensional data collection, AI algorithm modeling, and real-time predictive analysis. This platform can accurately identify potential equipment failures, upgrading traditional "post-event repair" to "pre-event prediction," significantly reducing downtime risks and maintenance costs in industrial production, providing a "Chongqing model" for the digital transformation of manufacturing.
A relevant official from the Chongqing Big Data Application Development Administration stated that this project is a typical practice of empowering the real economy with data elements, reflecting Chongqing's technological accumulation and scenario implementation capabilities in promoting the "integration of digital and physical economies."
The award-winning team brought together multiple forces from research institutes, technology enterprises, and universities: Chongqing Digital Intelligence Industry Economic Development Research Institute provided industrial research support; Chuangshuyun (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. was responsible for technology transformation and platform development; and the Space Communication Research Institute of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications contributed core technologies in communication and data transmission. This "industry-academia-research-application" integrated model is a microcosm of Chongqing's response to the national call to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces.
Currently, Chongqing is accelerating the construction of a national digital economy innovation development pilot zone, using the market-oriented reform of data element allocation as a starting point to promote the high-end, intelligent, and green upgrading of traditional industries. The technological achievements of the award-winning project have already been piloted in pillar industries such as automobile manufacturing and electronic information, and are expected to boost the efficiency of related industrial chains by over 20%.
It is reported that the Chongqing division attracted hundreds of projects competing, and the final award list was strictly produced through expert review and notarization procedures. The Chongqing Big Data Administration emphasized that it will take the competition as an opportunity to further optimize the data element circulation environment and cultivate more digital application benchmarks with national influence. 。
