Distinguished expert at Chongqing Institute of Medicinal Plant Cultivation, former chief engineer and associate researcher at Sichuan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, former professor and director of the teaching and research office at the School of Pharmacy, Chongqing Medical University, former professor and vice president at Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College. Engaged in new drug research, traditional Chinese medicine preparation and processing research, drug production, drug inspection, and pharmaceutical education for 42 years, leading and participating in over 160 scientific research projects. Obtained 1 new drug certificate and 1 clinical approval; applied for 68 Chinese patents, including 42 invention patents and 12 utility model patents, with 24 authorized; published 168 papers, including 64 CSCD and 38 SCI papers. Participated in the formulation of 3 national drug standards; chief editor of 3 monographs and 9 textbooks. Awarded 2 second prizes for national teaching achievements, 2 first prizes for Chongqing teaching achievements, and 1 third prize for Chongqing scientific and technological progress; recognized as a Chongqing teaching master and a reserve candidate for Chongqing academic and technical leaders.
