Introduction of Digital Intelligence Research Institute
Chongqing Digital Intelligence Industry Economic Development Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as: Digital Intelligence Research Institute) is a new type of international think tank institution that promotes the core task of building a "new ecological integration of digital economy and traditional economy" by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's national multi-functional economic and trade platform. It was registered with the Chongqing Civil Affairs Bureau in January 2024, and the competent unit is the Chongqing Federation of Social Sciences.
Under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important expositions and important speeches on the construction of a new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics, the Institute of Digital Intelligence relies on the rich talents, scientific research, industrial and political and business resources of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's national multi-functional economic and trade platform among the SCO countries, focusing on innovative research in the fields of big data, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing core technology development and industrial application, focusing on the specific industry and project development needs of the various industry working committees of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's national multi-functional economic and trade platform, the expert team of the think tank will be accurately matched to carry out special research, and will be included in the "Standard Incubation System for Transformation of Digital Intelligence Industrial Achievements" of the Digital Intelligence Research Institute to carry out project incubation, promote the transformation of high-quality scientific and technological achievements, and promote the industrialization of digital intelligence and industrial digitization. At the same time, we should give full play to the advantages of the Institute of Digital Intelligence in gathering and training international high-end talents, unite with universities and scientific research institutes at home and abroad, build a platform for training and cooperation and exchange of high-end young talents for Shanghai Cooperation countries, cultivate a group of young talents with the "Shanghai spirit" reserve army, and help Chongqing build a global talent highland and ideological highland.
